Overall Review: I had my doubts when I purchased this device. This isn't a big deal, because you can pick up your own for cheap if you want one. It crashed over and over until I was forced to find something to replace it in the full market, which worked out much better in the end. The music app archos provides is quite decent, while in my experience, the one for video is absolutely worthless. Possibly just a 2.2 bug (it had an earlier firmware on it when I got it which didn't do this) Overall Review: the network indicator always displays 1 bar, no matter how close I am to the router, but I seem to be able to pick up the signal just fine from all around my small apartment and even a ways out the door. (the screen problem is apparently common among archos tablets) No true damage seems to have come of this strange little growing blotch, but it is incredibly ugly and if you're detail oriented it may drive you nuts, as it is just ever-so-slightly recognizable when powered on *The permanent funky plastic coating over the screen: After less than a day of use (using only my very clean fingers and not pressing overly hard, might I add) I ended up with a funky blotch that I can only describe as 'oil on asphalt'. I expect one can eventually get used to this though, as it slightly helps just to flip it so the bottom of the device is in your left hand instead of your right. You will find yourself getting irritated quite fast at the fact you'll inevitably hit the home button while trying to do something.
